A Birthday Card Fit for a Knight!

Today is my Design Team day and I have a Birthday card to share using a new card sketch from the August bundle.

The August bundle is craft themed, but again, I took the elements from the card sketch 59 file and made it a card fit for a knight!

I added some white dots in the center of the paper sequins using the Nuvo Crystals. I just discovered these recently and oh my-- they are awesome!

A Recipe for a Yummy Page Layout.

Today is my Design Team day and I have a page layout using a new page sketch from the August bundle.

Yup- another recipe page. I can't  resist!

This is a favorite recipe from a church cookbook. I have several cookbooks and always forget which one this recipe is in. Now I have it in my scrapped book so it will be easy for me to find anytime i want to make it.

I started the page by  using the August page sketch 35. I added  handles and bottoms to the circles in the layout to mimic the lantern the Geisha girl is  holding.
